Good Proverbs - Subhashitaani # 1

And so, we are in yet another new month - July. Schools and Colleges have reopened already, so it is time for some good learning. Let us also focus on learning some good things now.

This month is going to be dedicated to learning some fundamental rules for life, discipline and much more - all carried as word of say from earlier centuries in Sanskrit - called as "Subhashitaani". Su-means Good and Bhashitam- means saying. (Bhashitaani is the plural for Bhashitam). So, basically these are good sayings passed on by one generation to another, and are very handy theories in Management and Life.

You will be amazed at the wealth and depth of these sayings.

Here comes the first one for the month.

Agni (fire) , Rna( runa-loan), shatru (enemy), if remain even in small trace (shesham) will grow again(punah punah pravardheta), so finish them completely (tatah shesham na karayet).

There are three jewels in this earth. They are water, food and Subhaashita!! But the Fools call the pieces of rocks as Jewels! Subhaashitaa are nothing but the collection of vast experiences of people or in other words wise sayings.

There is no official coronation (RaajyaBhishekh) ceremony held to declare that lion is the king of jungle. He becomes king by his own attributes and heroism ('Parakram').
